Studio Portraits

Studio sessions include an experienced photographer capable of creating photographs typical of this websiste and also includes an assistant plus all of the backgrounds, cameras and lighting equipment required for portrait style shooting.  Unless the client directs otherwise, typical sessions include a mix of full body to head & shoulders framing.  The studio is equipped with many props that can be used by the client.  Studio sessions are $150 per hour with a two hour minimum.  Sessions are generally limited to four hours maximum per calendar day.  Sessions lasting longer than four hours tend to become non-productive and would only be extended upon the clients expressed request.

Sessions would be subject to additional charges for an attending make-up artist, hair stylist and for any unusual backgrounds and props requested by the client.  All of which would be arranged in advance of the session with all costs approved by the client and the studio session manager.

Outdoor Events

Outdoor events and family portrait sessions will be priced once the location and scope of the project have been defined.  Please note that many areas in and around Jackson Hole may require special permits for access and photography.  The client will be responsible for all permit and special access costs.  Outdoor sessions are priced all inclusive meaning hourly rates apply door to door from the time leaving the Jackson studio until return.  Also note that weather conditions may impact on the success of an outdoor session.  Mountain weather can be unpredictable and unfortunately the Jackson Hole Photography Studio cannot take responsibility for uncontrollable outdoor circumstances including interference from wildlife.  The base price for outdoor sessions is $150 per hour with a four hour minimum.  

Indoor Events

Indoor events and family portrait sessions will be priced once the location and scope of the project have been defined and will take into consideration potential portable lighting requirements.  Please note that "permission to photograph" must be arranged in advance with the indoor facility.  Indoor events are priced all inclusive meaning hourly rates apply door to door from the time leaving the Jackson studio until return.  The base price for indoor events is $150 per hour with a four hour minimum.  

Groups & Weddings

Groups, family reunions and weddings are shot "candid style" as the event takes place.  A firm price will be quoted to interested parties once the location and scope of the project have been discussed.  Most events of this nature fall within the $800 for half-day to $1,200 for full-day range.  Prices are for "pictures only".  Retouching and prints would be additional and can be discussed as necessary.

Commercial In-Studio

Commercial in-studio sessions are priced upon request.  A request must include the purpose of the session and the results expected.  The base price for commercial in-studio sessions is $135 per hour with a four hour minimum.  Pricing can be presented as an estimate, as a not-to-exceed, or as a firm quote.

Commercial On-Loation

Studio Rental

The studio can be rented by amateur and professional photographers.  Written requests must include the nature of the photo session and list all participants involved.  No minors will be permitted to rent or otherwise use the studio without parental/adult supervision.  Those renting the studio will have access to all of the equipment in the studio.  A studio manager will be provided by Jackson Hole Photography Studio to oversee all activities and will have final authority to end a session at any time if necessary.  Studio rental sessions are priced at $75 per hour with a two hour minimum and four hour maximum.
